One of our first trips with our daughters on Lady Jayhawk was during hurricane season. Hurricane Dean appeared and was headed right toward us. We were advised to stay on the boat in Soper’s Hole, West End, Tortola, BVI. I tied the boat to a mooring, set an anchor, and prayed. During the night, the storm turned ninety degrees and missed us completely.
